The digital display shows nothing. Why?

Case 1: The batteries are running low. Replace them with new ones. If the “B” mark appears on the LED display, replace the batteries.

Case 2: The auto power shut-off function is activated. The power automatically turns OFF when the measured temperature does not exceed 100°C for three consecutive minutes while power is ON. Turn the power ON again.
